Some people seem to think we’re very one dimensional and can only haul in these huge Rainbows. That we somehow luck out and just target Triploid Rainbows that just happen to be sitting right in front of us to catch.

It’s true that MANY years ago, large trout nets allowed thousands of Rainbows loose and this has resulted in large amounts of Triploid Rainbows in the wild.

Are these Rainbows easy to catch? Far from. We’ve spent years figuring out how to catch them. Do we keep all of them? Never. We keep some of the records but almost always practice catch and release. So, please always handle these fish with care.

We fish in a lot of other places, for all kinds of different fish. From Alberta, BC and Montana and every year venture out further and further to find new places with even bigger fish.
